Surface Preparation
Ensure that the surface to be treated is free from any loose particles, dust, oil, dirt, extra cement blocks and especially sand. Clean a second time, using a soft broom or a vacuum cleaner, to make sure that the surfaces are absolutely dust free.
Priming
Apply one coat of diluted Pentens T-007 (1 portion of T-007 with 3 portions of water) by roller, brush or spray gun.
When applying on a defective bitumen layer use 0.1kg/m2.
For concrete surfaces use 0.2~0.3 kg per m2.
Note: It is advised for a heavy duty and long lasting application to lay special fiber Pentens W-015 on the surface to be treated. This fiber can be applied on the pre-existing cracks only.
Application
On areas exposed hot drying winds. 2 to 3 thin coats of paint may be more successful than 1 thick coat.
Pentens T-201 is suggested to apply at least 2 coats. The first coat should be applied in one direction only. If possible the second coat should be applied at right angles to the first.
Leave to cure for approximately 8 hours before applying second coat. Pentens T-201 can be installed with conventional airless spray equipment brush or roller.
In case of using Pentens W-015 fiber layer, paint Pentens T-201 in one direction to avoid bubbling of the fiber.
Coverage
On concrete roofs: 1kg/m2/per coat
On facade/vertical: 0.5~1kg/m2/per coat
1.3kg/m2 per coat when Pentens W-015 Glass Fiber Mesh is used.
For more details, please refer to our Technical Department.
Curing
Allow the coating to cure thoroughly before applying the next coat. Depending on temperature, humidity and wing conditions, normally 1~8 hours should be taken between two coats.
Note
The best method to assure good penetration of the first coat into the surface is by application with a nap roller. The succeeding coats may be spray or roller applied.
Cleaning
Tools and equipment just can be clean with clean water immediately, after use. Hardener material can only be mechanically removed.
Safety
Pentens T-201 is non-toxic. For personal precautions, applicators are recommended to wear gloves and goggles when handling Pentens T-201. Treat any splashes to the skin or eyes with fresh water immediately. Should any of the products be accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting, call for medical assistance immediately.
Important Notes

2.Apply only to clean, sound substrates where surfaces should be well
dampened but free of surface water and leaks.
3.Thoroughly agitate contents before use..
